Box Score | POMONA, Calif. - Kellogg Gym, the house of fun.

On Thursday, the Broncos' men's basketball team cruised to a 71-56 win over Cal State East Bay to earn its 11th-straight victory. It marked the third-consecutive home game with 1,000 or more fans.

The CPP faithful witnessed a showcase of terrific offense from the Broncos, who were led by Mitchel Anderson, Terrence Drisdom and DeRonn Scott in double figures.

WIth the win, the Broncos extend their first-place lead atop the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) standings. At 20-1 overall and 16-1 through league play, this marks the seventh 20-win season during head coach Greg Kamansky's 13-year tenure at CPP.

The Broncos are ranked fourth nationally and they have five regular season games remaining before starting the conference tournament on Tuesday, March 5.

At halftime Thursday when the CPP squad returned to the court, the Broncos' fans greeted them with the Harlem Shake you can watch here. University president Dr. Ortiz even made an appearance.

After draining 10 three-pointers on Saturday in La Jolla, the Broncos found their shooting rhythm once again from long distance Thursday as they knocked down eight treys. Drisdom and Scott tossed in three apiece.

CPP jumped out to an 8-0 lead and after an Anderson layup at the 13:53 mark, the host squad kept the margin in double digits the rest of the way.

Just as they cruised out to an early lead in the first, the Broncos started the second period in tremendous fashion as well. CPP put together a 14-0 run to start the closing half and an Anderson dunk in that stretch brought the Kellogg Gym crowd to its feet.

The Broncos outrebounded the Pioneers, 38-31, and Barry Bell finished with a season-high eight rebounds to pace the host squad. Anderson put together a stellar all-around performance, grabbing seven rebounds and dishing out five assists.

CPP will continue its homestand Saturday with a 7:30 p.m. matchup against Cal State Monterey Bay.
