POMONA, Calif. – After a tough overtime defeat last week, the Cal Poly Pomona men's basketball team returns to the court this week as they prepare for a couple of road games at Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State Los Angeles.
Last Week: After overcoming a 16-point deficit, the Broncos (3-7, 1-5 CCAA) sunk a last minute three to send the game to overtime against Sonoma State. During the added period, CPP kept the game close before a foul with time expiring gave the Seawolves two free throws to win 70-68.
Quick Hits: The Broncos are averaging 69.3 points per game and hold the second best turnover margin in the CCAA at plus-2.4.
Jordan Ogundiran and
Jeremy Dennis lead the team in scoring with 13.6 and 12.8 points per game respectively while
Chris Sullivan is averaging a team high 6.2 rebounds per game along with 9.4 ppg.
Ogundiran also leads the team in assists with 29 while Dennis and Sullivan each have 16 steals on the season.
About Cal State Dominguez Hills:
-Currently 6-4 overall, the Toros are 2-2 in the CCAA and are coming off an 81-71 win at San Marcos
