POMONA -- The Cal Poly Pomona Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced Wednesday the launch of the Bronco Athletic Fund, an annual membership designed to provide operational support to the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, specifically to help fund scholarship opportunities for more than 250 student-athletes at Cal Poly Pomona.

Formerly known as the Bronco Athletic Club, this campaign is designed to reconnect CPP fans and alumni with current information in regards to the ongoing successes of Bronco teams and student-athletes.  Donation incentives are also in place for fans and alumni as CPP has partnered with DME Delivers, a direct marketing agency, to assist with the Bronco Loyalty Packs that include a license plate frame, window clings, CPP Athletics polo shirts, and various in-person experiences based on giving levels.

This is part one of a complete overhaul to the department's fundraising efforts that will not only help provide scholarship opportunities to student-athletes, but it will help enhance athletics facilities and lay the critical groundwork for our athletics programs to continue to compete at a high level within the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) and NCAA Division II.  With that, the department is committed to re-engaging past and present donors, fans, alumni and community partners and providing information regarding giving opportunities with facility needs and sponsorships.
