SAN FRANCISCO -- Cal Poly Pomona women's soccer junior Taylor Scott captured First Team honors while senior Ambria Pogue and junior Taylor Rasmussen earned Second Team accolades, highlighting Wednesday's release of the 2019 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2 CCA) Women's Soccer All-West Region Team.

Scott, a native of Santa Clarita, leads the CCAA in goals (12), points (28) and game-winning goals (7) this season.  Her seven game-winners rank seventh in all of Division II in 2019.  Pogue from Simi Valley, is the team's second-leading scorer this season with four goals, adding three assists in 20 matches.  Rasmussen, a defender from Orange, Calif., is part of a defense that only allowed two goals in 12 conference matches, a goals against average of 0.16, posting 10 shutouts, all of which led the CCAA this season.

As a First Team selection, Scott will advance to the D2 CCA All-America ballot. The 2019 D2 CCA Women's Soccer All-America Team will be announced on the eve of the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship Semifinals on Dec. 11.

The D2 CCA All-Region and All-America Teams are nominated and voted on by the Sports Information Directors of NCAA Division II institutions that sponsor women's soccer.

The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2 CCA) encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a key communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies and regulations that impact Division II intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA Division II member colleges and universities.
