Playing as the No. 5 seed in the West Region, the Broncos finish their season at 21-7, suffering their final two losses of the year to the No. 4 seed Tritons (26-7), who advance to Saturday's semifinal against the winner of the upcoming game between top-seed Point Loma and No. 8 seed Western Oregon.

The Broncos chipped away and got to within three points at 15-12 with 7:12 left in the first half, but the Tritons eventually pushed their lead back out to ten points, 26-16, at halftime.
Midway through the second half, CPP would go on a 13-5 run, capped by a Christmas three-pointer to knot the game at 39-39 with 8:18 to go in regulation, but UCSD countered with a 9-0 run of their own over the next three minutes to all but put away the game. The Broncos did get within five at 48-43 on a
Nikhil Peters three-ball with 3:33 remaining, but that's as close as they would get the rest of the way.
Christmas was the only Bronco with double-digit points on Friday.
Chris Sullivan and Peters each ended with eight points.
Jordan Ogundiran, along with Sullivan, saw his career come to an end scoring six points. CPP shot 32.8 percent from the floor (20 of 61) while UCSD connected on 41.2 percent (21 of 51).
