POMONA – The Cal Poly Pomona Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced modifications in fan attendance policies and restrictions related to home basketball games due to another rise of COVID-19 cases in and around Los Angeles County.
Effective immediately, only four individuals per competing student-athlete and/or coach (for both home and away teams) will only be allowed in Kellogg Arena for basketball games. Those four individuals are to be declared by the competing student-athletes and/or coaches several hours prior to each contest. As is the case with all home basketball games, the individuals supporting CPP student-athletes and/or coaches receive complimentary access. Opposing teams will be asked to submit a list of four individuals per competing student-athlete and/or coach, and only those individuals will be allowed inside Kellogg Arena after paying the regular price of admission.
Prior to entering the facility,
ALL spectators will need to complete a Guest Health Screener (
HERE) prior to arriving on campus on the same day of each visit, and display the results of the Guest Screener to the individuals at the box office. Once inside the facility,
ALL individuals, regardless of vaccination status,
MUST wear a mask at all times.
Please do not attend any events if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or are under quarantine or isolation orders.
Please be aware that the above policies and restrictions are subject to change and can be modified at any time without notice in order to comply with the most current state, local and campus health guidelines. The CPP athletics department will give updates to the above policies and restrictions via our web site at broncoathletics.com and our social media channels on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram at the handle @CPPBroncos.
For those unable to attend basketball games in-person due to experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or for reasons that involve the spectator restrictions above, all contests continue to be streamed live online via the CCAA Network at
www.ccaanetwork.com. You may also download the CCAA Network app on your iOS or Android smartphone, tablet, or through web streaming devices such as Amazon Fire, Roku or Apple TV. Starting January 1st, the CCAA Network is moving to a subscription-based model at just $9.95 per month. Subscribers will have access to all CCAA broadcasts, both live and on-demand, for one low monthly price.
