NCAA DIVISION II REGIONAL RANKINGS
INDIANAPOLIS – The Cal Poly Pomona men's soccer team has been ranked in the Top 12 of Super Region 4 in the first official NCAA Division II Regional Rankings released Wednesday.
This first week of rankings features the Top 12 teams in each of the four Super Regions that are under consideration for NCAA tournament qualification, listed in alphabetical order. On the next two Wednesday's, the rankings will reflect the actual NCAA Regional Rankings.
The Top 10 teams from each of the four Super Regions across the country will qualify for postseason play. The West Region, which includes the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) and the Pacific West Conference, is merged together with the South Central Region that includes teams from the Lone Star Conference and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) to create Super Region 4. The Broncos are 10-1-4 overall and 5-0-3 in the CCAA conference and are looking to make another deep run in the NCAA Tournament after their 2021 season closed in the NCAA Super Region Four Final against Cal State LA. Two other CCAA teams are ranked in this year's Super Region 4 - Cal State LA and Cal State Dominguez Hills.
The announcement of the 2022 NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Championship Tournament will come via a live selection show at
NCAA.com on Monday, Nov. 7 at 3:30 pm Pacific Time. The NCAA will continue to release updated Super Regional rankings at NCAA.com every Wednesday afternoon leading up to the Nov. 7 selection show.
