Four Broncos Set PR's at John Elders Titan Invite

FULLERTON, Calif. --
All four Cal Poly Pomona men's cross country runners that competed in the John Elders Titan Invite on Friday evening in Fullerton set personal bests to kick off the weekend for the Broncos.

Christian Coley captured a 15th-place finish out of 201 runners, scoring a time of 24:53.1 to shave 48 seconds off his previous best time in an eight-kilometer race. Nicholas Albro took 19th with a time of 25:07.2, besting his previous PR by 31 seconds. Evan Franco ran a 25:13.1 to place 22nd, chopping 47 seconds off his best time. Alejandro Mariscal crossed the line in 25:20.3 and placed 26th overall, shaving six seconds off his previous-high.

The rest of the Broncos are in the Great State of Washington, set to compete on Saturday in the NCAA D2 Pre-Nationals race at Chambers Creek Regional Park in University Place, Wash., the site of the 2022 NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships in December. The men's race Saturday will begin at 10:40 am.
