Paul Roger Henschke has been selected to the 2022 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2 CCA) Men's Soccer All-West Region Team, for the second consecutive time, as announced on Tuesday.
Henschke was a Second Team honoree for his performance in the 2022 season. He collected six goals and five assists on the season. The Broncos extended their season to the NCAA Division II Tournament as Henschke had 15 starts and played 20 games.
His greatest performance was against San Francisco State on October 14
th when he scored his first hat trick at CPP. His name now stands with 11 other Broncos who scored a hat trick in their time at CPP.
Henschke, a native of Berlin, Germany, is the points leader for the Broncos as he tallied 17 points on the season. He was selected to the 2022 All-CCAA First Team.
Cal Poly Pomona closed the 2022 season in Pueblo, Colorado in the Second Round as the No. 6 seed in the NCAA Division II Tournament with an overall record of 11-3-6.
The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a key communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies and regulations that impact Division II intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA Division II member colleges and universities.
