Cal Poly Pomona split the weekend at the Ben Brown Invite on Friday and the Oxy Spring Break Classic on Saturday.

On Friday,
Keiana Turner took 12
th overall in the hammer throw, an NCAA Division I heavy field. She heaved a personal-best mark of 47.82 meters on her third attempt.
Taina Livai took seven in the javelin, posting a 34.29-meter throw on her third attempt.

Saturday saw CPP dominate the shot put, putting six Broncos in the top-six of the event.
Ana Tovi – who already had a provisional mark in the event – won the shot put with a throw of 14.25 meters on her second attempt, breaking her previous best by .21 meters. The throw ranks fifth all-time at CPP and is currently the best throw in NCAA Division II.

Demisha Price followed in third with a throw of 12.69 meters, while
Teme Fanguna took fourth with a toss of 11.95 meters.
Keiana Turner (fifth, 11.23 meters),
Ashley McBean (sixth, 10.75 meters) and Livai (eighth, 10.72 meters) rounded out the Broncos in the top-eight.

Tovi also won the discus, posting a 47.42-meter hurl on her second attempt. McBean (37.53 meters), Fanguna (37.27 meters) and Turner (37.26 meters) filled in spots five through seven in the event.

Elisha Salazar took second in the 400-meter event with a time of 57.11 seconds.

Sara Lindenthal posted an eighth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles, crossing the finish line in 16.70 seconds.

Angelina Camello and
Kelsey Ehinlaiye were neck-and-neck in the 100-meter dash, with Camello taking sixth in 12.41 seconds and Ehinlaiye following in seventh in 12.44 seconds.
Jaelyn Thomas also finished in the top-10, taking 10
th with a time of 12.55 seconds.

Three Broncos finished in the top-10 of the 800-meter event, led by
Arissa Hatcher, who took fourth with a time of 2:16.00.
Analexis Glaude followed in 2:17.50 for fifth place, while
Skyler Madrid finished in seventh with a time of 2:18.89.
