POMONA – The Cal Poly Pomona sophomore
Susie Fowler etched her name in the Broncos record book at the West Coast Relays over the three-meet weekend.
Fowler took first at the West Coast Relays in the 100 meter hurdles crossing the line with a time of 13.94 placing her seventh in the Broncos record book and fifth in the NCAA Div. II performance list.
Also making the national leaderboard at the West Coast Relays was junior
Ayana Fields who won the 400 meter dash with a time of 53.85 and is now ranked second nationally in the event.
The Broncos 4x400 relay team of sophomore

Ari Milton, junior
Yuna Queniat, and Fields won the event at the West Coast Relays and are now ranked sixth in the nation with a time of 3:45.55.
CPP sent distance runners sophomore Angie Arellano, sophomore
Bridget Edwards, and senior
Alisa Moradian to compete at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic in San Francisco. Arellano crossed the line first for the Broncos with a time of 18:19.48, followed by Edwards (18:27.69), then Moradian (18:39.22).
The Broncos throwers made their way to the Vince O'Boyle Track and Field Classic in Irvine. Junior
Keiana Turner led the way for the Broncos as she finished the hammer throw in second place tossing a distance of 50.98 meters, and the shot put (12.93m) and discus (41.02m) in seventh.
Cynthia Hurtado tossed 40.85m for an eighth place finish in the discus.
The Broncos next meet is April 6
th – 7
th at the Stanislaus Multi Event held in Turlock.
