Ha Lethal From Downtown in 23-Point Victory

POMONA, Calif. - In an offensive display of dominance, the Broncos saw three players reach double digits to secure their commanding 23-point victory over the Yotes on Thursday night. The Broncos' Senior Night marked the conclusion of the regular season, finishing with a 15-7 record in the CCAA and 19-8 overall.
 
The Broncos tallied 27 points in the initial 10 minutes of play. Their largest lead of the first half came with 42 seconds remaining in the first, as Khamiyah Anderson sank two free throws, extending the lead to 27-8. Breanne Ha dominated the first quarter, going a perfect 4-for-4 beyond the arc.
 
Ha continued her sharpshooting in the start of the second quarter, knocking down two more threes. Within the first 13 minutes of play, Ha had already amassed 18 points while going 6-for-8 from beyond the arc. Despite the Broncos' strong offensive push, the Yotes gained momentum and outscored them 25-21 in the quarter. Kalaya Buggs and Mydrea Moore capped off the quarter for the Broncos by scoring points from the free-throw line, allowing them to go into halftime with a 48-36 lead.
 
The Broncos separated themselves in the third quarter, outscoring the Yotes 26-11 with Sydney Nelson leading the surge in scoring with eight points. To conclude the quarter, Nelson added two more points on a layup, further extending the team's lead in the game to 27 points by the end of the third quarter at a score of 74-47.
 
In the fourth quarter, the Broncos continued to apply pressure. Mydrea Moore came up with a block at the 5:54 mark when the Yotes drove to the net, adding to her block count of 27 on the season. Ha hit her seventh and final three from the left side with 5:20 to go, as she increased her scoring to 23 on the night. Her seven three-point field goals made is tied for the second most in a game in school history.
 
Saucedo had a driving layup past three Yotes to make the score 87-57, taking a 30-point lead with 4:51 left in the game. As the time winded down, Saucedo sealed the deal with a three-pointer in the final 30 seconds, making the final score 92-69.
 
On the night, the Broncos tied a season high in three point field goals made, going 11-for-28 beyond the arc for a .393 shooting percentage. Additionally, they dominated the boards, securing their second-highest rebound total with 56 in the game. Nelson recorded a double-double with 10 rebounds and 21 points, her third of the season. Buggs contributed 19 points, along with three rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Senior Day honorees Sydney Fedinec and Reina Sausedo each contributed seven points to the scoresheet, with Fedinec grabbing three rebounds and Sausedo securing eight. On the night, 10 different Broncos scored in the team's 92-69 victory.
