SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal Poly Pomona men's track and field team picked up nine NCAA provisional qualifying marks on Friday, in addition to setting nine new personal records. The Broncos also won four events, while seeing 11 Top 3 finishes.

Hurdlers Ryan Fields and Alessio Sommacal led the team with four combined provos, each doing so in both the 110 meter hurdles and the 400 meter hurdles. Sommacal's mark of 51.33 on Friday was a new personal best, and now ranks second in school history - behind only Fields.
