SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The Cal Poly Pomona cheerleading squad recently attended the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) College Camp on the campus of UC Santa Barbara. The camp took place from Thursday August 8^th to Sunday August 11^th.
 
The Broncos took home hardware with a first place finish in the sideline division, third place in the fight song division, and captured the 2024 Collegiate Recognition Award. As a member of the Small Coed Division, CPP competed against schools such as USC, Colorado School of Mines, Northern Arizona, Cal State Bakersfield, and UC San Diego.
 
Led by cheerleading coaches Cesar Govea and Amber Huerta, 24 CPP student-athletes participated at this year's UCA College Camp, including:
