POMONA, Calif. – Both the Cal Poly Pomona men's cross country and women's cross country programs were ranked in the Top 3 of their respective CCAA preseason polls, it was announced by the conference office on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon.

"I'm proud of our men and women for earning the respect of the CCAA coaches," said head coach Chris Bradford. "It's tough to reach these positions in a conference like the CCAA, but at the end of the day, what matters is how well we perform in October and beyond."

Men's Cross Country
The men's program was ranked No. 2 in the conference, receiving every second-place vote for a total of 72 points. To no surprise, Chico State received all nine first-place votes, as they look for their 22nd consecutive CCAA title. The Broncos, who have finished second at the CCAA Championships for three consecutive seasons, look to snap that streak this Fall.

The Broncos also look to make their 24th NCAA Championships appearance come November, following a 23rd place finish at nationals last season.
