ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – Cal Poly Pomona volleyball tied the program record for most all-conference honorees on Tuesday night, seeing seven athletes receive All-CCAA recognition. In addition, Sarah Ybarra was named CCAA Player of the Year, Traci Dahl was named Coach of the Year, Elle Walker was named Newcomer of the Year, and Kacie Caoili was named both Setter and Freshman of the Year. The team's seven honorees ties 2024 for the most in school history.

For the second straight season, head coach Traci Dahl was named CCAA Coach of the Year. Now in her sixth season at the helm, Dahl led the Broncos to an impressive 19-5 record during the regular season, winning the program's second straight regular season conference title with a 17-1 CCAA record. Dahl joins legendary coach Rosie Wegrich as the only CPP coaches to win the award twice.

Sarah Ybarra was named the 2025 CCAA Player of the Year, marking the third time in the past four seasons that a Bronco has received the honor. She is just the fourth player in program history to ever be named the conference's player of the year, while also being named to the All-CCAA First Team. Ybarra has been lethal on attack this season, leading the conference with 4.95 kills per set and 5.50 points per set, while also ranking Top 10 in the CCAA in hitting percentage (.306) and digs per set (3.45). The La Habra native was a five-time CCAA Offensive Player of the Week, setting a conference record, while also breaking the CPP match kills record with 45 back on October 10th. Despite missing a few weeks due to injury, Ybarra still ranks second-best in all of Division II in kills per set and points per set.

Setter Kacie Caoili shined in her first collegiate season, picking up CCAA Freshman of the Year, CCAA Setter of the Year, and All-CCAA First Team honors. Caoili proved to be one of the very best setters in the NCAA Division II, averaging 10.60 assists per set - a full 1.49 more than the next closest player in the CCAA. She was named a three-time conference setter of the week, while logging the second-most assists in a match in school history (58) back on October 2nd versus Cal State San Bernardino. Caoili is the fourth freshman of the year in program history, and the third setter of the year.

Redshirt freshman Elle Walker was also named to the All-CCAA First Team, as well as CCAA Newcomer of the Year. A Bronco has now won the award in four of the past five seasons. Walker was incredible in her first season competing, registering 316 kills for 3.72 per set, the fourth-best in the CCAA this season. Her 34 kills against Cal State East Bay broke the previous CPP record of 33, now sitting only behind Ybarra's 45-kill mark.

Speaking of former newcomers of the year, Charlotte Koerber picked up All-CCAA First Team honors for the first time in her career after being named to the second team last season. The junior from Munich, Germany had a big year for the Broncos, ranking Top 10 in the CCAA in digs per set at 3.20. She also ranks top three on the team in kills, digs, aces, and blocks this season.

Transfers Anastacia Garza and Kaden Young were each named to the All-CCAA Second Team. Garza played a big role at the net, ranking second on the team with 59.0 blocks while swinging at a team-best .331 clip. Young anchored the CPP defense, registering 356 digs (3.83 per set) and tied for the team-high with 37 aces. This is Garza's second straight season being named to the all-conference second team, while it is Young's first.
