POMONA, Calif. - The Cal Poly Pomona men's and women's cross country teams are headed to Ash Creek Preserve in Monmouth, Oregon for the NCAA West Regionals this Saturday, November 8
th. The women's 6K race will begin at 10:00 AM PST, followed by the men's 10K race at 11:15 AM PST. Following the second event, there will be a ceremony to recognize the top runners and teams in both races.
The top three teams from each race will receive automatic qualifiers into the NCAA Championships, taking place November 22
nd at Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The remaining teams will wait to see if their name will be announced in the NCAA selection press release on Monday, November 10
th.
The men's team looks to make their third straight appearance, and 25
th overall, at the NCAA Championships, as they are sending runners

Tom McDonnell,
Jacob Shirota,
Daniel Echeveste,
Ricardo Vargas,
Jimmy Guerrero, and
Francisco Zavaleta.
The women's team looks to make their first appearance since 2019, and sixth overall, at the NCAA Championships later this month. The Broncos will be running

Jade Kingston,
Vivian Martinez, and
Alondra Arias.
