RENO, Nev. - The Cal Poly Pomona women's indoor track team opened its 2025-26 season with a strong showing at the Silver State Invitational, highlighted by multiple record-breaking performances.
Neshara Smith set a new school record in the pentathlon with 3,674 points.
In her Bronco debut,
Halle McDaniels set a new school record in the weight throw with a mark of 18.18 meters.
Arissa Hatcher broke her own 600-meter record, finishing in 1:34.98.
In total, 17 Broncos entered the program's all-time top-10 list, highlighting a strong start to the season.
