Broncos Excel with NCAA Provisional Marks and Top Finishes

CLAREMONT, Calif. – The Cal Poly Pomona Broncos delivered an impressive performance at the recent meet, securing 1st place overall with standout finishes across multiple events.

Nnamdi Onwaeze took 1st in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.20, earning an NCAA provisional mark. Kailen Smith cleared 2.06m in the high jump, also securing the NCAA provisional mark. Matthew Mannino won the javelin with a throw of 59.97m, earning the NCAA provisional mark and currently ranking 2nd in the nation.

The 4x100m relay team of Dylan Hanvey, Lorenzo Boyd, Isaiah Marecheau, and Colin Quinn crossed the line in 1st place, with the 4x400m relay team of Camden Patterson, Leroy Crook Jr., Joshua Morinaga, and Alessio Sommacal doing the same. Jered Beasley won the pole vault with a clearance of 4.80m, while Mar'Agen Fowler claimed 1st in the shot put with a mark of 15.38m.

The team's strong performance, including several NCAA provisional cuts, sets the stage for a successful season ahead.
