CLAREMONT, Calif. – The team opened the outdoor track and field season at the Rossi Relays, finishing 3rd overall.
A historic moment came in the 4x800 meter relay, where
Galilea Jimenez,
Arissa Hatcher,
Alondra Arias, and
Vivian Martinez shattered a 33-year-old school record with a time of 9:09.37.
Cynthia Hurtado also made her mark, entering the top 10 in program history in the Hammer throw. In addition, four relay teams secured spots in the program's top 10 rankings, showcasing strong team performances across the board.Â
