RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The Cal Poly Pomona Broncos had a standout performance at their second outdoor meet of the season, securing 3rd place overall out of 12 teams. The team displayed impressive improvements, setting 14 personal records across various events. This meet highlighted the Broncos' growing strength and potential as they continue to make strides in the outdoor season.

Among the standout performances, Jessica James had an exceptional run in the 200-meter, setting a personal record with a time of 24.31 seconds. Her performance earned her a spot in the program's top 10, ranking 7th overall. Additionally, Neshara Smith had a solid performance in the long jump with a mark of 5.77 meters, which placed her 9th in the program's history. Bianca Townsend also shone with a personal record in the discus, throwing 45.92 meters, which secured her a spot in the top 10 at 9th place.

Building on these impressive performances, the Broncos are eager for their next challenge. The team will compete in the Beach Opener at Cal State Long Beach on March 7th-8th.
