INDIANAPOLIS, IN. - At the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships, Neshara Smith put on an impressive performance, making her mark in both the long jump and the 60-meter hurdles.
Smith, who competed in multiple events, took 13th place in the long jump, earning herself an All-America Honorable Mention. Her strong showing was a testament to her consistency and talent in a highly competitive field.
In the 60-meter hurdles, Smith delivered a standout performance in the prelims, securing 3rd place with a personal best time of 8.30 seconds. Not only was this a personal achievement, but it also set a new school record, further solidifying her position as one of the top athletes in the event.
Smith's journey isn't over yet, as she is set to compete in the finals of the 60-meter hurdles tomorrow at 11:15 AM PST.
