Vivian Martinez from Cal Poly Pomona has been selected as the FloCollege/CCAA Women's Track Athlete of the Week. (Apr. 15)

Martinez took second in the 1500 meters at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational. She clocked in a time of 4:29.18, which is the fifth-fastest in program history, second-fastest in the CCAA, and an NCAA provisional Mark. Martinez had set a personal record in this event just last weekend and managed to drop another two seconds off her time.

Cal Poly Pomona will compete in the Mt. SAC Relays this week, beginning Thursday, Apr. 17.
