CLEVELAND – The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) released the winter national standings for the Learfield Director's Cup on Thursday morning, seeing Cal Poly Pomona receive it's highest ranking after the completion of the winter season at No. 18 in all of NCAA Division II with 337.0 total points. The Broncos remain No. 1 in both the CCAA and the west region.

Cal Poly Pomona's previous highest ranking after the winter season was No. 37, set with 236.5 total points following the 2014-15 winter season. The department's combined 337.0 points across fall and winter sports this year are already the third-most points ever recorded in department history.

The highest-ever point total for the Green & Gold came in 2022-23, when they garnered 386.5 total points and finished first among CCAA schools. The Broncos need just 50.0 points to break the school record, and for context, spring sports have been averaging 131 points over the past three years.

The LEARFIELD Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships. Overall, 15 sports are counted in the final DII standings, four of which must be women's volleyball and basketball and men's basketball and baseball. The next highest (11 max.) sports scored for each institution, regardless of gender, are used in the standings.
