TURLOCK, Calif. - The Broncos kicked off Day 1 of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Championships with a commanding performance, finishing the day in first place with 48 points—holding a 21-point lead over Chico State. It was a strong all-around showing highlighted by standout performances on the track and in the field.
In the men's 10,000 meters, the Broncos dominated the race with a clean sweep of the podium.

Daniel Echeveste, and
Francisco Zavaleta finished first, second, and third, respectively, combining for an impressive 24 points and setting the tone for the team early in the competition.
The success continued in the field events, where
Josh Morrison and
Gavin Binning both made the podium in the long jump. Morrison claimed second place while Binning secured third, contributing key points to the Broncos' lead.
On the track, nine athletes advanced from the preliminary heats into the finals in their respective events, setting the stage for continued success in the days to come. With momentum building, the Broncos are in a strong position heading into Day 2 of the CCAA Championships.
