TURLOCK, Calif. - The Broncos secured their fourth consecutive CCAA Conference Championship in dominant fashion, cruising to a 35-point victory over Chico State. This impressive four-peat underscores the team's continued dominance in the league. Their title run was fueled by a series of standout individual and relay performances, with athletes rising to the occasion across all three days of competition. The Broncos' success was further highlighted by Head Coach
Chris Bradford, who was named Coach of the Year for his leadership and dedication to the team's sustained excellence.
Leading the way was
Neshara Smith, who earned the High Point Award with an impressive 36-point total. Her scoring alone outpaced the entire team totals of Cal Poly Humboldt, San Francisco State, Cal State East Bay, and Cal State Monterey Bay. Smith's standout performance also earned her the Newcomer of the Meet honor. On the final day, she made the podium twice—claiming 2nd place in the high jump and securing a victory in the 100-meter hurdles.
The Broncos saw multiple other podium finishes on the third and final day.
Sarah Lindenthal contributed valuable points with a 3rd-place finish in the high jump. In relay action, the 4x100-meter squad of
Samira Stevenson,
Jessica James,
Ta'Ahjah Fann, and
Hannah Luster took 2nd place, while the 4x400-meter team—comprising
Yasmeen Delgado,
Trinity Moseby,
Arissa Hatcher, and
Jessica James—also placed 2nd.
Individual highlights continued with
Vivian Martinez finishing 2nd in the 1500 meters,
