RENO, Nevada - Cal Poly Pomona women's indoor track and field continued its upward trajectory at the Wolf Pack Classic at the University of Nevada, Reno, highlighted by a record-setting performance in the distance medley relay.
The quartet of Alondra Arias, Jessica James, Arissa Hatcher, and Vivian Martinez combined for a time of 11:57.87, breaking the program's school record and becoming the first group in program history to finish under 12 minutes.
The record-breaking relay added to an encouraging weekend for Cal Poly Pomona, as the Broncos continued to build momentum in the indoor season.
