Biography
2009: Went 3-3 in singles play, going 3-2 at No. 6... Played one doubles match (Eric Carlstrom) and earned a victory at No. 3.
2008: Did not play.
2007: A fixture at No. 6 singles… Went 2-9 at that spot, and then went 1-0 at No. 5 singles… Partnered with Eric Carlstrom (0-1) and Steven Zosa (1-1) at No. 3 doubles.
At Covina HS: Competed in football, soccer and tennis… Earned first-team All-League honors in tennis in 2005 and first-team All-League honors in soccer in 2004… Team MVP in both soccer and tennis.
Personal: Son of Douglas and Lorna Gong… Biology major… Lists playing in the Rose Bowl as his most exciting experience in sports.
