As a Freshman in 2011: Competed in four races, two of which were postseason events... Raced his best 8,000-meter time at the Stanford Invitational on Sept. 24, recording a mark of 26:25.0... Finished 50th overall at the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Championships and 90th at the NCAA Division II West Region Championships.
High School: A 2011 graduate of Dana Hills High School... Helped his cross country team to a second-place finish in the CIF and state postseason in 2010 and CIF and state championships as a junior in 2009... Guided the squad to a seventh-place finish at the Nike Cross Nationals... Earned Principal's Honor Roll recognition for his work in the classroom.
