As a Junior in 2012: Took first place in the javelin at the Steve Scott Invitational at UC Irvine recording the fifth-best mark in program history of 187-0… Earned a first-place victory in javelin at the UC San Diego Dual Meet hosted by UC San Diego with a distance of 172-05… Also competed in decathlon recording a season-high 6,010 points at the California Relays hosted at Cerritos College.
At Cal State Stanislaus: Placed fifth in the decathlon at the 2011 California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Championships, recording 6,007 points... Finished third in the javelin part of the event, registering a distance of 170-10.
High School: A 2009 graduate of Lodi High School... Captain of both the basketball and track and field teams... Received All-League Honorable Mention for basketball... Collected an Honors' Award for his work in the classroom.
