As a Junior in 2012: At the CCAA Championships he finished fifth in shotput, recording a throw of 46-3.25… Set a personal best at the Pasadena Games with a fourth-place finish in shotput with mark of 46-7… Threw a season best 134-04 mark for discus at UC San Diego… Also competed in javelin and hammer throw.
At Moorpark Junior College: Placed sixth at the state championships in the shotput... Finished fourth in both the hammer throw and shotput at the Western State Conference championships.
High School: A 2008 graduate of Chico Senior High School.
Personal: Son of Ron and Peggy Durham... Has an older sister named Crystal... Mechanical Engineering major... Is a semi-professional drag racer... Enjoys golfing and working on his racecar in his free time... Favorite pro athlete is Ray Lewis and favorite pro teams are the Green Bay Packers and the Oakland Raiders...
