High School: A 2016 graduate of Bishop Amat Memorial High School... Earned All-CIF honors in 2015 and 2016 for the 3,200-meter event that he posted a personal best of 9:19... Posted a top 1,600-meter time of 4:23... Earned All-CIF recognition in cross country in 2015 after running 14:50 at Great Cow Invitational over three miles... Finished as a three-time league champion in the 3,200... Received All-League First Team honors for three-straight years in cross country... Member of the 2014 State Championship team and 2015 State runner up team.. Individually he placed 19th at 2015 Division IV Cross Country state championships.
Personal: Son of Rafael and Patricia Diaz... Has three younger siblings: Alex, Carina and Grace... Construction Engineering Technology major...
