2008: Competed in six events… Earned three top-30 finishes… Placed 11th at CSU San Bernardino (26:42 over 8,000 m)… Placed 22nd at UCSD Triton Invitational (33:48.1)… Placed 30th at CCAA meet (27:29.8)… Finished 43rd at NCAA West Regional.
2007: Competed in five events… Finished 26th at CCAAs (26:22.1) over 8K… Named CCAA Newcomer of the Year… Earned school’s Enterprise Athlete of the Month for November… Best finish was 13th at Redlands Invitational.
At Cajon HS: A prep athlete scholar… Earned all-league honors in track, soccer and cross country… A four-year letter winner in cross country… Owns a personal-best of 16:09 over three miles… Ran a 2:01.1 in the 800 meters.
Personal: Son of Alberto and Maria Diaz… Landcape Architecture major… Sister Yvette attended CPP... Enjoys soccer, music and drawing.
