As a Junior in 2015: Competed in two meets for the Broncos, racing to a season-best time of 26:33.05 at the Pomona Pitzer Invite in Claremont... Earned a spot on the CCAA All-Academic list for maintaining a grade point average above 3.40 through the 2015-16 academic year.
At Cal Poly SLO & Orange Coast College: Received the Coaches Award in 2014... Was named a Scholar-Athlete in 2015.
High School: A 2012 graduate of Woodbridge High School... Named the Most Improved Athlete in 2010... Named the Frosh/Soph Most Valuable Performer in 2010... Earned the Most Improved Athlete Award in 2011... Was named the Most Dedicated Athlete in 2011... Was listed as a Scholar-Athlete in 2012.
Personal: Son of Preston Ferguson and Jenny Warren... Both parents are alums of Long Beach State... Enjoys hiking, biking and going to the beach in his spare time... Favorite professional athlete is Peter Snell... Geology major... Aspires to become involved in planetary science research.
