Stephanie Sandino enters her first season in 2011 as an assistant coach under the leadership of head coach Isabelle Harvey.
A Diamond Bar, Calif., native and Walnut High School graduate, Sandino played four years for the Broncos from 2007 through 2010. While helping the CPP coaching staff in 2011, she is also completing coursework to earn a degree in Kinesiology.
During the summer of 2011, Sandino got her first experience in professional soccer as she competed for the W-League's Colorado Force. That opportunity for Sandino capped off a tremendous career for the Broncos, both on the field and in the classroom.
At the conclusion of the 2010-11 school year, Sandino earned the Hal Charnofsky Award. The award recognizes California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) student-athletes who have distinguished themselves in the classroom and in their sport.
