2008: One of the top runners in the California Collegiate Athletic Association… Named the CCAA’s Newcomer of the Year and All-CCAA selection… Broncos’ top runner in each of his five races… Placed fourth in CCAA event (25:39) over the 8,000-meter course in Devore… Finished 19th at NCAA West Regional after race was restarted due to meet management issues… Medalist honors in his first meet, running the Devore course in 25:25 to win the CSU San Bernardino Invitational… Finished 27th at the Stanford Invitational… Top CCAA performer at UCSD Triton Invitational… A two-time CCAA Runner of the Week honoree.
At Santa Ana College: Earned athlete of the year honors in his sport… Best time of 20:30 over four miles… Best time of 8:36 in the 3,000 meters.
At Katella HS: Competed in both cross country and track and field.
