As a Senior in 2014: Posted a personal best at Cal Poly Pomona with a 26:30.0 in the 8,000 meter Dual at the Rose Bowl... He finished 13th in that competition... Raced in four meets for the Green and Gold.

At Merritt College: Individual qualifier for the 2012 California community college cross country state championships.

High School: A 2005 graduate of Center School... Worked six years as a carpenter before starting college.

Personal: Son of John Barker and Deborah Valentine, both of whom are University of Montana alums... Has two sisters, Charlotte and Anna... Civil Engineering major...
