Biography
2009: Ran in just two events... Placed 58th at UC Riverside (25:41 over 8,000 m)... Ran 27:08 at Stanford and placed 143rd.
2008: Competed in three events… Named CCAA Runner of the Week by virtue of his fourth-place finish at Cal State Fullerton (26:30.6 over 8,000 m)… Finished 24th the following week at UC Irvine (26:17)… Sustained a leg injury and missed much of the season… Competed at CCAA and placed 41st (27:58.3).
2007: Competed in four events… Finished 28th in CCAA championship (26:22.5 over 8K)… Finished 52nd at NCAA West Regional in Boise, Idaho.
At Don Bosco Tech: Earned a best three-mile time of 15:27 during cross country season… Posted personal bests of 4:37 (1600), 10:01 (3200) and 16:15 (5000) during track and field season.
Personal: Son of Miguel and Ana Najera… Favorite food is Hawaiian pizza... Landscape Architecture major… Enjoys basketball, hiking, traveling and drawing.
