As a Freshman in 2011: Served as a regular contributor in the Broncos' cross country pack in 2011... Competed at six meets, two of which were postseason events... Finished third on the team at the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Championships, completing the 8,000-meter race in 27:39.9... Placed second among the Broncos at the NCAA Division II West Region Championships as he finished the 10,000-meter course in 33:09.0 for the 55th spot individiually.

High School: A 2011 graduate of Arcadia High School... Among the top seven runners on the Arcadia cross country team during his junior and senior seasons... Competed at CIF, state and Nike Cross Nationals through both of those campaigns... After team and individual success, he received a Certificate of Recognition from the Arcadia Board of Education and a Mayor's Certificate of Commendation by the City of Arcadia... An Eagle Scout.

Personal: Son of Eric Tsai and Elma Hsu... Has an older brother named Alan... Agricultural Science major... Enjoys sleeping, playing with his dog and hanging out with friends in his free time... Favorite pro teams is the Portland Trail Blazers... Favorite pro athletes are Seb Coe and Dennis Rodman... Aspires to become a veterinarian.
