High School: A 2012 graduate of Beaverton High School... Graduated in the same class as current Bronco Jeremy Winston.. Ranked second on the Beaverton squad in goals with eight as a senior.. During his junior season, he guided Beaverton to an appearance in the state championship... Competing at the club level as well, he helped his team reach the state cup match... Garnered All-Metro Academic All-Star recognition on two occasions and finished as a National Merit Scholarship semifinalist.

Personal: Son of Nancy and Jeff Winston, both of whom graduated from Illinois... Has a younger brother named Jacob... Mechanical Engineering major... Enjoys reading, working out and playing video games in his free time... Favorite pro athlete is Wayne Rooney...
