2009: One of two players to record a winning overall record in singles... Enjoyed a 9-8 record, going 7-5 at No. 2... Played all 18 matches in doubles... Went 6-9 at No. 1 doubles with Joe Madoo and 1-1 with Josh Lau... Lost only doubles match with James Lee at No. 3.
2008: Played in each match in both singles and doubles play… Played exclusively at No. 2 singles and went 5-10 overall… Teamed with three other teammates in doubles play… Went 5-5 with Josh Lau at No.1 doubles… Went 1-1 with Mike Palacio at No. 1… Teamed up with Eric Carlstrom at No. 3 and went 2-1.
At Roosevelt HS: Earned school’s student-athlete of the year award his senior season… Honors student.
Personal: Son of Salvador and Maria Romero… Mathematics major… Enjoys music.
