2009: Reached personal best 12-9 ½ in the pole vault at Azusa Pacific… Also ran the 100 (best time – 12:00)… Named to the CCAA All-Academic team… Repeat selection on the Division II Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Awards, presented by WeatherPORT.
2008: Named a CCAA Academic All-Star… One of 17 Cal Poly Pomona student-athletes honored by the Division II Athletic Directors Association (DII ADA) as its inaugural recipients of the DII ADA Academic Achievement Awards, presented by WeatherPORT

At Valley View HS: Competed in wrestling, cross country, football and track and field… National Honors Society member… Wrestling team’s captain in 2005-06 and earned Most Improved honors for track and field… Scholar-Athlete for three years from 2004-06… Personal best of 12-0 in the pole vault.
Personal: Son of Don Drake and Roxanne Cox-Drake… Computer Engineering major… Enjoys skateboarding, snowboarding and jujitsu… Lists wrestling at CIF and placing second at the IGJIF Tournament as his most exciting experiences in sports.
