As a Freshman in 2014: Finished third in the CSUSB Coyote Classic with a time of 25:51.2 in the 8,000 meter run.
High School: A 2014 graduate of Brea Olinda High School... Selected as Athlete of the Year... Earned All-League, All-County, All-CIF and All-State honors... Set personal bests in the 1,600 at 4:10.51 and in the 3,200 at 9:17... Reached the state finals during his senior season... Maintained a grade point average of 3.5.
Personal: Son of Sean and April Koryta... Has two siblings, Kamille and Rhett... Biology major... Enjoys sleeping, surfing and hanging out with friends in his free time... Favorite pro athlete is Kenenisa Bekele... Favorite pro teams are Bayern Munich and the New York Giants... Aspires to a career in the medical field.
