Biography
As a Junior in 2013: Competed in the javelin event and threw his best distance of 142-04 on April 28 at UC Irvine. That mark proved to be the fourth-best on the team in 2013.
At Mt. San Antonio College: Competed the 2010 and 2012 seasons in shot put, discus, javelin and hammer throw.
High School: A 2009 graduate of Rosemead High School… Team’s Most Valuable Player and Captain for track and field... Received First Team All-League and All-Area honors.
Personal: Son of Lac Luc and Lucy Yu… Has a brother named Eric… Mechanical Engineering major… Enjoys watching movies, playing video games and hanging out with friends in his free time... Favorite pro athlete is Lebron James… Favorite pro team is the Los Angeles Lakers… Aspires to work in the aerospace industry.
