In 2011 Cross Country: Put together a strong senior season for cross country, competing in four races with two of them being in postseason action at the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) and West Region championships... Registered a season-best 8,000-meter time of 25:45.1 at the opening meet at UC Riverside.

In 2011 Track & Field: Received selection to the CCAA All-Academic Team for recording a grade-point average above 3.40 for the 2010-11 school year... Raced in the 5,000-meter race of the CCAA Championships in Turlock, tallying a mark of 16:14.32... His top 5,000-meter time (15:53.88) of the season came at Cal State Fullerton on March 5.

In 2010 Cross Country: Competed in three races during the 2010 fall season and put together his top race at the Stanford Invitational, running the 8,000-meter event in 26:55.0.

In 2010 Track & Field: Earned a spot on the CCAA All-Academic Team and the CPP "Scholar-Ballers" list for the 2009-10 school year after maintaining a grade-point average above 3.40... Raced in the 1,500 (4:23.01), 5,000 (15:43.10) and 10,000 (33:53.92) events.

In 2009 Cross Country: Raced in three cross country meets, turning in a top 8,000-meter time of 26:46.1 at the UC Riverside Invitational.

In 2009 Track & Field: Selected to the CCAA All-Academic Team and the CPP "Scholar-Ballers" list for the 2008-09 school year after holding a GPA over 3.40... Competed in both the 1500 (4:23.10) and 5000 (15:52.05) his freshman season.

In 2008 Cross Country: Contributed a solid performance at the CCAA Championships, crossing the line in 28:03.3 for the 8,000-meter race... Competed in five races overall fo rthe season.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Claremont High School, where he competed in both cross country and track and field…In cross country, posted personal-best time 16:13 over 5,000 meters and earned Most Valuable Runner award as a senior captain… In track and field, ran both the 1600 and 3200 in the spring and earned the Most Inspirational honor while senior captain... Received national honors for his excellence in the classroom.

Personal: Son of Ben and Sue Selters… Father competed for Pomona College's track and field team in the pole vault... Finance, Real Estate and Law major... Has a younger sister named Charlotte, who runs on Occidental's cross country squad... Aspires to become a lawyer and also run marathons... Favorite pro athlete is Lance Armstrong... Favorite pro teams are the Los Angeles Dodgers, Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Lakers and the U.S. Olympic Teams.
