Biography
As a Junior in 2010: Performed well in the 200-meter and 400-meter events, registering top personal times of 23.21 (April 16 at Azusa Pacific) and 50.91 (April 10 at Pomona Pitzer) respectively.
As a Sophomore in 2009: His best times as a sophomore came Feb. 21 at UC San Diego (27.46 in 200-meter) and April 17 at Azusa Pacific (51.27 in 400-meter).
As a Freshman in 2008: Turned in a solid freshman season in 2008, recording season-best times of 23.02 in the 200-meter event and 51.33 in the 400-meter race.
High School: A 2006 graduate of Gladstone High School... Made three-straight appearances in the CIF prelims... As a senior he ran 51.6 for the 400-meter event to capture the Montview League championship and 23.03 for the 200-meter race to place second... Graduated with honors after holding a grade-point average of 3.6... Named a Montview League scholar-athlete.
Personal: Son of Guillermo Gonzalez and Ana Perez... Has three younger sisters named Ana, Gloria and Rosa... Kinesiology major... Favorite pro athlete is Kobe Bryant... Favorite pro teams are the Los Angeles Lakers, San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees... Enjoys going to church, hiking, working out, playing basketball, watching movies and hanging out with friends in his free time... Aspires to become an athletic director.
