In 2013 Track and Field: Had impressive performances in a variety of races including 800-, 1,500-and the 3,000-meter events... Raced to a 4:14.82 mark in the 1,500-meter race at UC San Diego.
High School: A 2012 graduate of Quartz Hill High School... Set personal bests of 4:29 in the 1,600-meter event and 9:57 in the 3,200-meter race... Earned CIF Prelims qualification for track and field in 2011 and 2012... Four-time CIF Prelims Qualifier in cross country... Guided the track and field team to a Golden League championship in 2012... Selected as the class Valedictorian.
Personal: Son of Linda and Frank Hallak... Has two older siblings, Kristin and Frank... Kinesiology major... Enjoys reading, listening to music and hanging out with friends in his free time... Favorite pro team is the Chicago Bears... Aspires to become a physical therapist.
