Biography
In 2015 Cross Country: Competed in two meets for the Broncos, posting a time of 24:20.5 at the Pomona Pitzer Invite in Claremont.
In 2015 Track & Field: Competed in three events for CPP, focusing mostly on the 800-meter distance... Her top time in that event came at the California Collegiate Invitational, where she crossed the line in 2:23.36.
In 2014 Cross Country: As a junior, she competed in two cross country meets for the Broncos. She ran her best 5,000-meter race at the UC Riverside Invite, hitting a time of 20:00.0.
At Glendale Community College: Received All-Conference honors for the 5,000-, 10,000- and 3,000-meter steeplechase events... Helped the team place second at the state championships in 2012 and 2013.
High School: A 2012 graduate of Providence High School... Graduate of the Spanish Honor Society and the Medical Focus progam.
Personal: Daughter of Freddy and Rosa Castillo... Has an older sister named Jessika... Kinesiology major... Enjoys camping, eating and hanging out with friends and family in her free time...
