Biography
High School: A 2012 graduate of Steele Canyon High School... Put together an impressive senior season with the Cougars' cross country program... She served as the team's captain while earning "Most Valuable Player" honors... Also named the school's Female Athlete of the Year for 2011-12... In the 2011 Stanford Invitational Division II Girls' 5,000-meter race, she finished sixth of 223 competitors with a time of 18:40... Owns three school records at Steele Canyon, including 5:11 in the 1,600-meter event and 11:25.37 in the 3,200-meter run... Received All-Academic accolades as announced by the San Diego Union Tribune.
Personal: Daughter of Heather and Reginald Nocon... Has three siblings: Court, Darius and Logan... Biology major... Enjoys singing, writing music, playing guitar, surfing, community service and going to church in her free time... Favorite pro athlete is Kara Goucher... Favorite pro teams are the Pittsburgh Steelers, San Diego Chargers and the San Diego Padres... Aspires to become a hygienist and a high school coach.
