Biography
As a Sophomore in 2010: Earned a spot on the CCAA All-Academic Team and the CPP "Scholar-Ballers" list for maintaining a grade-point average above 3.40 during the 2009-10 school year... Matched her top pole vault distance from 2009 with a 9-8 mark as a sophomore at Cal State L.A. on April 24... Also competed in the 100-meter (14.00) and 200-meter (29.28) events as a sophomore... Earned a spot on the CCAA All-Academic Team for the 2009-10 school year after maintaining a grade-point average above 3.40.
As a Freshman in 2009: At Pomona Pitzer, she reached season-best vault of 9-8 that ranks fifth all-time at CPP… Placed sixth at CCAA Championships at 9-7 as team placed fifth in Chico.
High School: A 2007 graduate of Temecula Valley High School, where she was a member of the Golden Bears’ track and field team… Owns a personal-best of 10 feet in the pole vault... Received the College Board AP Scholar Award for exemplary college level achievement on advanced placement program exams... Also received a Certificate of Achievement from the Congressional Student Leadership Conference.
Personal: Daughter of Tracy and Angela Adams… Animal Science major... Favorite pro team is the San Diego Chargers... Aspires to become registered veterinary technologist... Enjoys reading, horseback riding, hiking, kayaking and hanging out with friends and family in her free time.
